Camper from New Hampshire gave us this review on 02/05/08. Dates of Stay: 08/01/2007. Will You Return? Undecided. What did you camp in? Travel Trailer - Size of Camping Unit: 30 foot
What stood out? Campground is clean, and some people are friendly, others are not.
Owners and Staff: One of the owners can be very rude to people
Camp landscaping and surroundings: It is a large campground, approx. 400 sites.
Good sites: The newer section in the back have larger sites. Most sites are maintained by the seasonal campers. Bad sites: none that I noticed.
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, Transient sites are well kept.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, snobby seasonal campers, too many seasonal sites. They vary in size. Most seasonal sites look neat. Some of the seasonal trailers need to be cleaned but since you can't wash campers there is not much they can do.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: They are extremly clean.
pool, swimming, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Activities are run by seasonals.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails. Near Steeplegate mall and other shopping areas and restaurants.
Last comments: The owners should be a little nicer to their seasonals and guests. More people would come back.
