Gerry gave us this review on 12/10/05. Approx Dates of Stay: july 1-4. What did you camp in? Travel Trailer

Overall Campground Rating: fair-average.

What stood out? The location is great and the sites are mostly pull thru. They have free passes for a town owned beach which is incredidble. We spent every day there. This is really a campground for adults without kids as they have almost no activities but the area has plenty to do.

Owners and Staff: Polite and helpful

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Not much landscaping but this campground seems to be a place to camp and spend the days at the beach or other attractions

Overall Site Quality: fair-average

Campsite hookups: electric, water, cable, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, Nice enough place but we have 3 kids and would be difficult to spend my 2 weeks vacation here. But a weekend is great

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: cluttered, too many seasonal sites. Some areas seem to be groups of retired or groups of young people who seem to party late into the night.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: they seem recently updated and well kept

Activities and Amenities

ocean, recreation hall, video games, theme weekends, pets allowed, laundry room, The ocean is across the street but easily accessable. The town beach is 5 min away

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails.

Last comments: Nice enough place but not not for families looking for a place to camp and stay in the park. Location is key with this campground as they are near everything
