What stood out? Entire campground was immaculately kept. Sites were clean, grass was beautifully mowed. The campground had more of an adult feel, which we prefer. It was very quiet. Even the dump pipe on our site was unusually clean. We could get the high-speed wifi right from our site, # 24. They do need to upgrade to 50A service, though.
Owners and Staff: Judy at the front desk is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The grounds keepers also are very friendly and helpful.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Tall balsam pine trees surrounded our site and the nearby woods, which blew a wonderful scent our way. The grass was beautifully mowed and kept.
Good sites: Best sites are 43, 49 and 51. Bad sites: The first row seemed tight, sites 1-12.
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, wifi Campsite Descriptions: wooded, semi-private, picnic table, fire ring, We would highly recommend this campground.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? don't remember. Additional comments on restrooms and showers:
pool, recreation hall, pets allowed, Heated pool with separate jacuzzi was great.
What is nearby? restaurants, nature trails. Lobsterfest only 5 miles away.
Last comments: We will absolutely be back, and would highly recommend this campsite to anyone.
