Camp landscaping and surroundings: Mostly wooded.
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, picnic table, fire ring, Only problem was bugs. We arrived after a rainy bout and had to contend with that.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, All sites are kept clean and neat. Hard to tell seasonal from weekly sites.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? . showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? no. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: This is the only reason the place did not get an excellent rating. There is a lack of restrooms.
pool, pond, swimming, fishing, playground, camp store, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, We have been looking for years for a place to hang our hats when we go to CT. Now we have found a campground that is what camping should be.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, nature trails. Black Rock State Park right accross the street.
Last comments: This is the kind of place you can bring your children and grandchildern to and not worry about safety. They will NOT tolerate any Drugs and drunken people. We can't wait to go back.
