Kim gave us this review on 09/21/08. Dates of Stay: September 2008. Will You Return? Yes. What did you camp in? Travel Trailer - Size of Camping Unit: 26'
What stood out? This was our very first camping experience in our new trailer. The campground was on the small side, which for us, was a plus. Our girls had the freedom to move around the playground, etc. with us not too far away. Lots of dogs for our puppy to play with and everyone seemed to clean up their messes and keep the dogs quiet during quiet hours.
Owners and Staff: The staff was great checking in -- not overly friendly, but certainly helpful enough. They honored our request for a pull-through site due to the fact that we were newbies and didn't have the experience to maneuver the trailer yet.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Beautiful, wooded campground not far from civilization, but with an atmosphere that's quiet and peaceful. Some of the sites were a bit close together, but this was not a problem for us as we enjoy talking with other folks.
Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable, wifi Campsite Descriptions: wooded, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring,
Cell Phone Service: Good Verizon Wireless service.
Comments on restrooms and showers: Didn't even check these out!
pool, video games, playground, camp store, pets allowed,
Last comments: We would go to this campground again anytime! It's not far from our home, so we wouldn't have to travel too far to get there and it has a lovely ambiance. All in all, a wonderful first trip!
