Approx Dates of Stay: 9/3/04 . Overall Campground Rating: horrible. What stood out? The campground appeared very neat and clean. The sites are extremely close together. The campground appears to be nothing more than a parking lot with a few trees. When we made our reservations we were told we had a wooded site that was 30ft by 50ft. When we arrived our site was on the back side of the bathhouse. The hookups were on the bathhouse. Of course, they had no other sites available and would not refund our money. We understand no refund policy - but they lied to us when we made our reservations. The site was not wooded or the size told to us. Camping in our own driveway would be 100% better. Owners and Staff: One women was very friendly when we checked in - another women seemed somewhat crabby and not too friendly. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Clean roads, clean sites, well graded. However, sites are extremely close together. I don't believe we could have put our awning down. No privacy at all here.
Overall Site Quality: terrible. Good/Bad site #'s: No good sites that we found Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, somewhat small, close to the road, highway noise, Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? don't remember.
Activities and Amenities: pool, video games, dumping station, security gate. Very small store What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, Last comments: We read other reviews about this campground being very crowded and sites extremely small and highway noise - we should have listened to them. This is not camping - park in your own driveway, you'll enjoy it more.
