Approx Dates of Stay: July 2 - 10, 2004. Overall Campground Rating: fair-average. What stood out? The campground was keep clean. The bathrooms were cleaned daily and always had hot showers. Had to pay .50 for 5 minutes. Sites at the beginning of the campground were close together and small. Ones in the back appeared to be bigger and were treed. The location of the campground to the beaches was great, only 3 miles away. The location to the highway was convenient but unfortunately heard the loud hum of the traffic all the time. The noise at times even all throughout the night was annoying. Owners and Staff: Staff was very helpful and keep to themselves unless needed. No problems at all with the staff. Very friendly. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Front section had small sites close together. Back section had larger sites. Woodchips on the sites helped to keep things clean.
Overall Site Quality: fair-average. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, somewhat small, close to the road, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, Very loud highway noise constantly. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Kept very clean.
Activities and Amenities: pool, swimming, recreation hall, video games, pool table, playground, What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, Last comments: Enjoyed my stay, just wish the highway noise didn't ruin my time there.
