Approx Dates of Stay: 8/6 - 8/8. Overall Campground Rating: fair-average. What stood out? Good - Campground is clean (bathrooms & grounds) and quiet hours are definitely observed. No issues with barking dogs, rowdy partiers, etc. The kid's playscape area is really nice and definitely is one of the best I've seen. Bad - number one issue is definitely the highway noise (not sure if it's 95 or 495, but it is constant). I also think the campsites are extremely close to each other. This is an issue with all sites - RVs/campers and tents. For example, the tent area that we stayed in had 4 sites, but I thought it was appropriate for no more than 2. One last note on the pools - they are small and pretty cold and they are only open from 1-7. I really feel that the hours should be expanded. Owners and Staff: Helpful & knowledgeable about the area. Camp landscaping and surroundings: As noted above, the campground is clean. The roads are well taken care of (stones) and all of the sites have decent amount of wood chips on them. This really helped to reduce the usual amount of dirt/sand that we get in our tent.

Overall Site Quality: not good. Campsite hookups: electric, water, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, close to the road, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, Way too close to each other. Large RV's had about 10-15 feet between them. We started to pitch our tent and realized that we were actually on the other site. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly,

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: There were 3 good sized bathhouses in the campground and all were clean and close by.

Activities and Amenities: pool, recreation hall, video games, playground, camp store, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Great playground What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, Great attractions are only about 10 mins away. Last comments: Unfortunately there's not much the campground can do about the highway noise, but the close proximity to other campers is really the worst I've observed. I'd stay here again in a pinch, but am going to try and find another campground in the area.
