What stood out? Good: Private sites (Loved the amount of trees)
Owners and Staff: Quiet and friendly
Camp landscaping and surroundings: There are dirt roads throughout the campground. It is great for biking and walking. It is very woodsy and I didn't realize how full the campground was until we went on the weekend, evening wagon ride. As we traveled around the campground, I found it amazing how busy it was, but it was quiet.
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, close to the road, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, group camping area. They also have camping cabins (no kitchen or bathroom) and rustic cabins for small families. The owners have been adding new amenities to these facilities each year.
Cell Phone Service: Verizon Wireless worked.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, After camping here a few years, we now have a seasonal site. Looking forward to great weather this summer!
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: The new owners have been updating the facilities each year. The pool area showers are spacious and have been recently painted. pool, river, swimming, fishing, recreation hall, video games, pool table, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. The video game/pool table area and in-door pool are both great for rainy days.
