Crystal gave us this review on 07/10/07. Dates of Stay: July7-9 2007. Will You Return? No. What did you camp in? Tent
Overall Campground Rating: not good.
What stood out? Lots of people, Sites close to the road always having to watch the toddlers not relaxing. The bathrooms need updating and no soap to wash hands.
Owners and Staff: The campground appears old and no money put back into the place, the staff I felt were watching every five monutes the drive around every hour in a golf cart. Too many rules to be relaxed outside.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Wooded with many campsites close together. Nice lake.
Overall Site Quality:
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, semi-private, close to the road, picnic table, group camping area.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: snobby seasonal campers, too many seasonal sites.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Need soap to wash hands after using bathroom

I received five poor reviews for this campground in a span of three days. Obviously this was a group of (at least five) families camping together.
Camping during a holiday week is always going to be stressful.
Yes, it sounds like you had a bad time, but I am wondering if the fact that it was a holiday weekend had a large impact on your stay.
