Approx Dates of Stay: mid-June 2002 & 2003. Overall Campground Rating: fair-average. What stood out? Good: very quiet, next to Amish and Mennonite farms--very close to shopping in downtown Intercourse, PA. Bad: sites are quite small and bath-houses need updating Very bad: the owners recently changed their policy toward children--no kids under 16! No matter how well-behaved your kids may be. We had become loyal customers and were informed of this policy change in a Christmas card from the owners.."Well, we did it! NO Kids!" So, if you have kids, don't even think about trying to camp there. Camp landscaping and surroundings: in a nice setting, on a hill near Amish and Mennonite farms--very quiet and well-suited to those not looking for a campground with entertainment.
Overall Site Quality: fair-average. Good/Bad site #'s: good sites 4 and 5 Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, somewhat small, picnic table, The sites are much too small. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: restrooms and showers need improvements in equipment and ventilation
Activities and Amenities: very small camp store What is nearby? restaurants, retail stores, Close to downtown Intercourse, farmer's markets, and tourist-related shopping and attractions.
