Approx Dates of Stay: 8/20-22,2004, 7/16-18,2004, 7/09-11,2004. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? Lots of seasonals, but very friendly! Spotless bathrooms, friendly staff. 3/4 mile from the beach! With that many pople, It was amazing but Quiet time WAS quiet! Owners and Staff: Very helpful and friendly! Camp landscaping and surroundings: Large campground that is mostly seasonals, but also has an area that gives you that "camping in the woods" feeling.

Overall Site Quality: excellent. Good/Bad site #'s: Our favorites with electricity: Y9 or X9, with or without electricity: V10 to 15 are nice as well as any of the X1 thru 14, Y1 thru 14 or Z1 thru 18 Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, semi-private, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, highway noise, This ISN'T a state park BUT you're here for the beach and the seafood right? Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: It is a long walk from some of the sites, but not really a problem

Activities and Amenities: pool, ocean, swimming, playground, camp store, ice cream, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Camp store sells Ice & Wood, other needs are addressed at Hannaford's 1/2 mile or so up rte 1. VERY good Ice Cream at the Ice Cream shop at the corner! What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, Wells is an Antique hunters mecca! Great restaurants- Try Billy's Chowder House! Shopping in Kittery, ME or up the coast a bit at Freeport, ME Last comments: One summer we spent 40 some days and Nights in Wells, ME at $80.00 to $150.00 per night at a motel. The $25.00 to $32.00 per night at Beach Acres seems a real bargain! By the way, we either Tent or use our Pop-up here! Both are enjoyable!
