Deb gave us this review on 06/01/05. Approx Dates of Stay: Memorial Day Weekend-2005.

Overall Campground Rating: excellent.

What stood out? We pulled in on Memorial Day weekend-2005 with our two kids and our dog without reservations and were greeted very friendly by staff. It is a dog/children family friendly campground. Very clean even after the flooding rains of May.

Owners and Staff: We participated in the ice cream social and for $2.50 got huge chocolate sundaes while listening to free entertainment, an excellent live band who really can sing. The following night was a juggler who again was amazing and interacted with the audience.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: The campground is large and a beautiful place for walking and enjoying nature. Also we enjoyed playing mini-golf for $3.00/$4.00(adult) each and renting "low-rider" bikes which really are fun to try but hard to master as an adult. We had no TV and never got bored in this campground. Plenty to see and do.

Overall Site Quality: excellent

Good/Bad sites: We had a good size site but some did look small.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: friendly campers, Even with the cold and rain showers everyone seemed to be happy campers!

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? don't remember.

Activities and Amenities

pool, pond, ocean, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, tv or movies, playground, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. We visited both stores at the campground. The main store had everything we needed but was high prices for convenience. The store was open 7:30AM so we able to get the morning newspaper and open until 11:PM at night.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails.

Last comments: We would definitely camp at Bayley's again. It was a nice weekend for our family.
