Approx Dates of Stay: Sept. 13, 14, 15th. Overall Campground Rating: very good. What stood out? Plenty of activities, 3 swimming pools, easy access, clean restrooms, excellent store and a restaurant. Owners and Staff: Only met the "check-in person" She seemed pleasant... There was staff on golf carts driving by. They would wave as they drove by!! Camp landscaping and surroundings: The Campground itself is huge.....it's more like a city. The tent sites are grassy. The RV sites are on crushed rock. Sites are close together... with no trees to separate your site from your neighbors. The RV sites have crushed rock.... not very comfortable to walk on!!
Overall Site Quality: good. Good/Bad site #'s: We were in "L" section which was OK. We have a 36' 5th wheel, and maneuvering it into the site wasn't easy. There isn't much room to get a straight shot onto your site. Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, cable, , . Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, close to the road, picnic table, fire ring, , , , , , , , , , , We camped here this past weekend with our Good Sam's Chapter. It's a nice campground, but I can just imagine in season it must be Super Busy!!! This place is like a city!! Being off-season was much more relaxing. There were many campers there this week-end, but more spread out. Looking at all the site they have, when it's Full capacity it must be NUTS!! We definitely would not go during the busy summer months!! Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.
Activities and Amenities: pool, pond, boat rentals, recreation hall, video games, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, camp store, ice cream, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Bayley's Camping Resort offers about everything a person could want in a camping resort. The pools looked very clean, the camp store is definitely well stocked and has many souvenir items. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements. They also offer the Trolley Bus to the beach during season. It was NOT running during our visit.Last comments: We liked our stay at Bayley's Camping Resort, although the price was a little high even though it was off-season. During season, the rates are approx. $50.00 a night which is ridiculous!! As I stated earlier, this resort is like a city with 3 pools, jacuzzi's, restaurants, theaters, etc. It was nice to camp this time of year, but would not camp there during the summer!! I can just imagine the crowds!!
