Approx Dates of Stay: Labor Day Weekend 2002.
Overall Site Quality: On an average, Good - The sites are a cross between "not good" and "very good". We have camped there for a few years now, and have been disappointed on both our visits this year. We will not go back unless we have an "outside site" in the V, T, or C section. The sites in the middle/inside areas are just too cramped and noisy neighbors can make it unpleasant.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Restrooms are showing their age. The water pressure is horrid! I had very low water pressure taking a shower in my own trailer at noon. I also noticed a lot of electric surges.
I was disturbed to see almost every child in the campground with pop/cap guns! It is mind-boggling that a busy campground of their size would actually want to ADD to the noise level by selling cap guns in the camp store. I also thought it was inappropriate seeing that 9/11 is upon us and we should show our children examples of non-violence! I mentioned something to the office, and I was told that "they have been selling them for years" and that they "are not responsible for what parents let their kids do" - not the kind of response I was looking for.Last comments: We actually left early this weekend. The noise from the loud campers next to us for two days was aggravating! I think we will wait awhile before visiting Bayley's again.
