Approx Dates of Stay: Sept. 10-14-04. Overall Campground Rating: not good. What stood out? very well advertised so one instantly thinks this is the place to be. Don't be fooled! The area we were assigned to was full of mud. All roads were gravel and mud with huge trees allowing for mold and mildew to pop up everywhere. Kids EVERYWHERE. Kids would love this place as they can run rampant in and out of sites and on the roads. We almost hit a 4 year old on her bicycle riding the streets. Dog doo doo all over and no place to walk the dog. No bags offered either. Place was pricy. Chaos, loud people, sites crammed together and hard to park our class A in the skinny lots. The worse part were the campfires. They were everywhere and our neighbor had a blazing one right next to our propane unit on our rig. We could smell smoke thru our motorhome vents. I will say that this is a good place to go if you don't mind overcrowded pools and playgrounds. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Large acreage but all jammed in.
Overall Site Quality: terrible. Campsite hookups: electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, somewhat small, close to the road, grassy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, I suggest walking to the site before trying to manuver your rig into what they feel is a large space.
Clean restrooms and showers? no. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? don't remember.
Activities and Amenities: pool, pond, ocean, lake, swimming, fishing, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. Tourist trappy. What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails. Location is great. Last comments: See ya someplace else.
