Approx Dates of Stay: 08/06/04-08/08/04. Overall Campground Rating: horrible. What stood out? The owner has absolutely no people skills and is extremely rude !! Quiet rules not enforced. Just an overall poor experience. Owners and Staff: The staff is intimidated by the owner and has no leeway to use their own good judgement in customer issues. Camp landscaping and surroundings: Located on Brandy Pond with boat ramps for camping guests. The beach is spacious but slopes rapidly toward the lake.
Overall Site Quality: fair-average. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, sandy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, The only reason we camped here was to visit my daughter and niece's grandfather who has been camping here for 15 years. The owner showed him no respect even after he casually booked our site for that weeekend several weeks in advance. The staff reserved it because they knew he was a regular but the owner insisted on overriding the reservation because it wasn't in his rule book. The only reason he comes back is for a convenient boat dock. Extremely rude owner. BEWARE !!!
