Overall Campground Rating: very good.

What stood out? clean & well kept. sites close together but very quiet & peaceful.

Owners and Staff: excellent!! everyone very nice always a smile & a hello. camped next to Doc & Marilyn great people. Mark great guy, always making sure everything ok.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: simple landscaping but very neat. rustic feel nature trails quiet side of Mt. Desert Island.

Overall Site Quality: very good

Good/Bad sites: Stayed in A28 nice but would like to try A10-A17 more private nobody there when we were camping. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, close to the road, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, across road have tent only area didnt go thru some more private sites in area B more seasonals in A

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, sites are very neat people nice

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: bathrooms could be updated but are very clean which is nice.

Activities and Amenities

pool, recreation hall, tv or movies, playground, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, although sites are somewhat close we had a great time rustic feel no frills. cant say enough about staff wonderful people!!

What is nearby? restaurants, ocean or lake, nature trails. shuttle bus stop at campground go to Bar Harbor/Acadia free. plenty to do in area cant do everything in 1 week

Last comments: would stay again very relaxing
