Forest gave us this review on 08/05/08. Dates of Stay: July11-13,2008. Will You Return? No. What did you camp in? Pop-up Trailer - Size of Camping Unit: 25 ft.
Overall Campground Rating: not good.
What stood out? We have been going to this campground for 20 years. We were always told to go in and get a campsite and then come back and register at office. This time, we were chased down by an employee and rudely told to go back to the office to tell them we were going in to find a site. They could have just said to do it next time. We drove back to the office to tell them we were going to look for a site , and were rudely lectured about stopping first. It was like it was their job to make us feel unwelcomed. We are going back to bar harbor in a few weeks and will be staying at another campground.
Owners and Staff: Rude.

Cell Phone Service: cell phone reception poor
