Approx Dates of Stay: 6/25-6/27. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? The seasonal campers are very nice!! They try to get everyone involved with activities. Owners and Staff: Owners and staff are very nice and accomodating. Camp landscaping and surroundings: very clean and well kept.
Overall Site Quality: very good. Good/Bad site #'s: T17 & T18 are very rocky. All others seem good. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, pine needle bottom, picnic table, fire ring, This was our second weekend coming this year and our first weekend we had a rocky site and had a hard time putting our tent up. The second time we had a really great site with really nice and friendly people all around us. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, The seasonals were very friendly. My son is 13 and wanted to play in the cribbage tournament and they changed it to a no money game to accomodate him....I thought that was GREAT!!!
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? no. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: There is not restrooms near some of the sites but there are port-a-potties near them.
Activities and Amenities: pool, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, On the 2nd weekend we were there they had comedians there on Saturday night and they were hilarious. What is nearby? grocery stores, nature trails. Last comments: This was a wonderful experience for us and we would definitely go back again!
