North Truro, MA -
Roni Hardy gave us this review on 07/26/09. Dates of Stay: July 20-24, 2009. Will You Return? Yes. What did you camp in? Tent - Size of Camping Unit: n/a
What stood out? very clean, modern bathrooms, well equipped camp stores. Easy access to beautiful, uncrowded beach via a woods biking/walking trail. Close to Provincetown with shuttle access every half hour. However, sites were very close together and afforded little to no privacy. Luckily, there was no one on one side of us for our stay otherwise it would have been claustrophobic. Also, it was a bit noisy at night with people setting up at 10 PM.
Owners and Staff: very friendly and helpful.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: attractive, well-kept.
Good sites: It looked like the tent sites in the very back of the campground were more secluded but they were across from RV sites so not sure how noisy. Bad sites: We were at 1A, but it looked like all the tent sites were fairly close together without buffers. Also could hear traffic all night.
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, wifi Campsite Descriptions: wooded, pine needle bottom, picnic table, highway noise, plenty of room for tent, canopy and picnic table with parking for one car. Too close to neighbor and could hear them at night in their tent.
Cell Phone Service: Verizon; had service
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: very clean and modern
ocean, swimming, video games, playground, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, camp store well stocked and had coffee every AM available as well as muffins. The area that we camped in was not secured behind a gate and that made me a little nervous at night being so close to the road.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails. Provincetown is 5 minutes away. Beautiful beach!
Last comments: Overall, we were happy, mostly the accessability to the beach and the bike trail.

We spent 10 days there between July 18-28 in site 31AW. It was tight but we got by. But will ask for a larger site next year when we expand our stay to a full 2 weeks! We can’t get enough of this campground and I’m trying to figure out how I can return before the season ends!
