Overall Campground Rating: very good.

What stood out? Cleanliness

Owners and Staff: Very Friendly. Especially Younger workers always polite

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Just opening so they were still working on landscaping but all very clean for the fresh opening of a new season.

Overall Site Quality: excellent

Good sites: All are equal. Let the staff choose one that suits your needs

Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, cable, wifi In some cases need longer chords Campsite Descriptions: wooded, private, pine needle bottom, picnic table. All sites have just enough shade with the option of peaking sunlight. Just right

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, All seasonal sights are clean and tidy.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes.

Activities and Amenities

ocean, camp store, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, May not be for the traveler with children who needs planned activities and "day care" But perfect for the nice quiet getaway that camping is to me.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, nature trails. Just outside of Provincetown and a very short walk or bike ride to the ocean.

Last comments: Pleased to spend the opening month at this very nice campground. Looking forward to more camping experiences like this. ie... No planned activities ... no carnival atmospheres. Just good ole fashioned CAMPING!!!

  2. question Hi Jim. We are thinking of visiting this campground this spring and just wondered if you could expand on your comments of it being filthy?  I understand it was just taken over by another company.  Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

  3. I have visited this campground numerous times, Filthy is never a word I would put to associate with this place.
    Perhaps Jim can expand on that because I’m curious also… smile

  4. We spent a week there (and gave a reiew) last July and clean was the word, not filthy. We’re planning on returning this July too as we enjoyed our stay so much.

  5. We’re returning for 5 days at the end of June and friends are coming this year too. It was under new ownership last year when we were there. What could have changed so much between our visit and yours?
