Rick I gave us this review on 10/14/06. Dates of Stay: 10/6/06-10/09/06. Will You Return? Undecided. What did you camp in? Hybrid Trailer - Size of Camping Unit: 28'
Overall Campground Rating: very good.
What stood out? The sites for most part were good size, There were alot of pipes running on top of the ground, lots of junk vehicles when you go to campsites.
Owners and Staff: They seem to be laid back and freindly.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: The roads could you some upkeep,lots of yeellowjackets during the afternoon.
Overall Site Quality: very good
Good sites: We stayed on 17,17a,17b,17c these were great for a group like we had.
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: wooded, semi-private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, There is know road noise whatsoever at this campground.
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: cluttered, Some of the seasonals looked a little to permanent.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Restrooms and showers were very clean.
Activities and Amenities
pond, swimming, fishing, boat rentals, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate.
What is nearby? ocean or lake, nature trails.
Last comments: overall this was a good camping weekend.
