Josh gave us this review on 02/10/08. Dates of Stay: August 1996-2008. Will You Return? Yes. What did you camp in? Motor Home - Size of Camping Unit: 26 feet

Overall Campground Rating: excellent.

What stood out? There are so many things to do! I've been going there since I was 2 and everytime I always had something to do. Whether it is kayaking, fishing, hiking, swimming, eating, and playing in the game room.

Owners and Staff: Very kind. Those people are the best. It's great having parents that went there because everyone remembers us. And when we pull up in our camper to check in it's great seeing familar faces.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Beautiful. Stunning. Simply breath taking. There are so many trees and other beautiful natural surrondings to enjoy including a lake.

Overall Site Quality: excellent

Good sites: I'd have to say that all the sites there are the great. The lake front ones are the best. 46-56 and 58,60,62,63. Also B6 B8 B10 B12 B14 B16 B18 B20 and B22 Bad sites: None. Altough the Safari Field sites for people passing through can be bad since it is in the sun and far from the lake.

Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, wifi WiFi is still a work in progress Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, large and spacious, sandy bottom, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. If you chose to stay, the site you chose will already be clean and free of debri because campground staff does a five star clean up before you check in.

Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers, Everything here is great. The campers are great too. For instance we know are neigbors so well since they've been coming as long as we have that we play ball and other activites with them.

Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: If you stay in a tent site or other without full hookups. The showers are only steps away.

Activities and Amenities

pond, lake, swimming, fishing, boating, boat rentals, docks or moorings, recreation hall, video games, pool table, live entertainment, bingo, tv or movies, playground, theme weekends, kids planned activities, camp store, ice cream, AM coffee, snack bar, pets allowed, laundry room, dumping station, security gate. So much to do! It has a lake for swimming, fishing and boating. The pond is completly reserved for dogs so they can have fun to.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, nature trails. The campground actually has 2 of its own restaurants. A grocery store is down the street and around the corner. Scenic Sebago Lake is only 2 miles away. North Conway NH, Freeport, Mount Washington and, Portland are also close to.

Last comments: I would lastly like to say that this is the most stunning campground that I've seen. And I highly recommend going there.
