What stood out? Clean campground, bathrooms, and helpfulness of the owners.
Owners and Staff: Karen was very helpful. Having not been to the area before I called and she helped me to decide if the location would suit our needs as well as location of a museum and food shopping laundry locations.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Nestled in between 2 ridges with a river at the base of one of the mountains. beautiful foliage
Good sites: plenty of great sites Bad sites: did not really see any
Campsite hookups: electric, sewer, cable, not sure about wifi Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, some shade on many sites.
Cell Phone Service: We just use trac phone and we had some service no different then anywhere else you go
Seasonal Campers and Campsites: can't really say the campers we met where both seasonal and transit and we found the campers we talked with to be very friendly.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. free showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: great hot showerd
river, swimming, playground, basket ball but remember you are camping you are out to enjoy the outdoors and met new friends so we do not pay any attention to if the campground has planned activities. I believe they do but not why I camp so not important to this camper. When I go camping it is to spend time with my family not to expect someone to entertain them for me.
What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores, nature trails. We intend to return for the nature trails just over the bridge from the campground.
Last comments: This family highly recommends this campground. We will be back.

We camped at Able Mtn a couple of years ago and found it to be very nice. I was a little scared to go past the trailer park at entrance but it turned into a beautiful area. We climbed the mtn, just bring the bug spray. Seasonals were friendly but not overbearing. Free use of shuffleboard equipment/outdoor equipment and saw a deer one morning right next to river/campsite.
