What stood out? I've never stayed at any of the sites on the main grounds, but the wilderness sites could not have been in better scenic locations. The surrounding wildlife is wicked.
Owners and Staff: Staff is excellent. Everyone is courteous, informative, and polite.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: The local scenery is amazing. Near 360 degrees of mountains encompass you from any given spot on the lake. Loons are regular visitors to the wilderness sites and the moose are not timid in those parts.
Good sites: Not telling my favourite, but if you're up for the paddle, w-14 is ultimate isolation with the comfort there is civilization across the lake. Bad sites:
Campsite hookups: primitive tent, I know I didn't use them if they had them. Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, private, semi-private, large and spacious, somewhat small, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, I can only vouch for the wilderness sites which despite some being "sunny and open," your only open to your only neighbor, nature.
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? no. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? no. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Rustic is the word to use, outhouses are the common.

What is nearby? restaurants, grocery stores, ocean or lake, nature trails. More mountains than you can shake a stick at.
