Approx Dates of Stay: August 6-8, 2004. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? Beautiful, peaceful setting. Great owners, very pleasant and helpful Owners and Staff: Staff was extremely friendly, very welcoming Camp landscaping and surroundings: Beautiful rolling hills and the permanent campers keep their sites beautifully landscaped. Nice quiet, peacefull setting
Overall Site Quality: excellent. Good/Bad site #'s: Sites facing the pond were great. Campsite hookups: primitive tent, electric, water, sewer, Campsite Descriptions: sunny and open, wooded, grassy bottom, picnic table, fire ring, group camping area. Seasonal Campers and Campsites: neat and orderly, friendly campers,
Clean restrooms and showers? yes. Restrooms and showers need updating? yes. Coin-metered showers. Are restrooms accessible from all sites? yes. Additional comments on restrooms and showers: Clean but could use some updating, just because they are a little small.
Activities and Amenities: pond, swimming, fishing, recreation hall, bingo, playground, kids planned activities, pets allowed, dumping station, Lots of activities planned for the entire family. Fishing without a license. What is nearby? restaurants, retail stores, ocean or lake, amusements, Not too far from the coast. Last comments: Enjoyed our stay. Slight highway noise at night, but nothing to keep you awake. Would definitely return for more peaceful, relaxing weekends.
