One last word on Danforth Bay

We had one last trip to Danforth Bay for a long Columbus Day Weekend. We arrived Wednesday night, and it was very quiet. Our campsite was up in the new Main Street area. Peaceful, quiet, and DARK!

PS, I got my wi-fi card for my laptop working at the Depot and was truly excited!

More campers started to arrive Thursday and by by Friday, the place was pretty full. I’d say close to 100% full.

We picked up my neice Friday night, and we were off to the Sandwich Fair on Saturday. We had a blast. I think my favorite part was the little petting zoo. I am not much for zoos and circus’ but this one was very well kept, and adorable. There were lots of smaller animals running around, and it was great to interact with them. It was a nice fair, and I recommend it!

Sunday was Halloween at Danforth! We decorated our campsite/trailer to get into the spirit along with a lot of other campers! And from 6:30 to 7:30pm there were trick-or-treaters roaming the campground. It was soo fun to see the great costumes. The only trouble was it was raining, and as the hour wore on, the rain became harder and harder. But it did not dampen the spirits of the campground. The party afterwards was terrific, and everyone seems to really have fun.

A big HELLO to our friend Bob (New England Camper) and his family! It was great to meet you, and put a face to a name!

A big “SEE YA NEXT YEAR” to our friend Dave F and his family! I will see you next year at Danforth, Dr. Dave!

A huge THANK YOU to Danforth Bay for a great weekend and a terrific year! They bend over backwards to make you feel like you belong to their family, and I am looking forward to returning next year!
