Memorial Day Weekend

After contacting several campgrounds during the last two weeks, I had given up on finding an available campsite for Memorial Day weekend. Mike kept bugging me to keep trying, so I gave Papoose Pond Campground a shot. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that yes, indeed, they had several sites still available!

Sooo, if you are in need of a place to stay for Memorial Day weekend, please call them!

  1. Hi Guys,
    I just have to let you know that yesterday we went over to Papoose Pond Campground to check it out because we are booked on a site there the end of June so we thought it would be a good day to go see it.
    I just can’t tell you how impressed we were with the Campground and the owner, Rocky. He took us on a complete tour of everything and I mean everything. He even let showed us the new “Pedal Cars” he’s bought and let my nine year old son ride all around the campground with us. We just can’t believe how much time he spent with us(and they’re still getting it ready) and most of all how proud he is of his campground. We really haven’t stopped talking about our day there yesterday and just can’t wait until the end of June. I only wish we were booked there more in the summer and I could convince my husband to camp on Memorial Day too.
    Anyway, we just can’t say enough about Papoose Pond Campground.

  2. Glad you found a campground for memorial day weekend. We can’t wait! Patty is looking forward to it even being 9 mos pregnant and due in less than 2 weeks.

    I really want to check out Papoose Pond at some point.  One of Patty’s friend’s recommended this campground to us as well.  I’ll have to check out your review and pictures.

  3. Been there before and loved it. We will also be there on Memorial Weekend, maybe we will meet up. We will be on site BS 13A in the Bantam B23s Hybrid.
