First Camping Weekend!

Our first camping trip of the season is coming up this weekend! Now where do you think we will be going? Uh, easy answer! Danforth Bay!

We have had several family outings to go to for the last few weekends, and this is a long time coming! Oh it will be fabulous I am sure!

  1. I hope you weather is better up there than it is down here in Mass. It is rainy and cold. Big difference from last weekend when we went. It hot and humid on Saturday.

    Can’t wait to hear about your trip. We have 13 nights booked at Danforth Bay this year. Perhaps we will see you there again!

I am new to this site and after reading everyones comments on Danforth Bay, I quickly called them up to reserve a site.  We will be camping there the weekend of June 11-13th.  We are on site S02 on the Lovell Loop I believe, hopefully a nice area.  I am looking forward to it and hope I am not disappointed!!! 

    We are also looking for a seasonal campground, so if anyone has any suggestions, that would be great.  We live in southern NH and dont want to long of a drive, 2-3 hours at most.  We have a one year old son, so would like a campground that caters to the kids.  On a lake would be ideal!!!
    Oh, we have a 32’ fifth wheel that we camp in.  SOme places won’t take this big of a camper as we are finding out.  Or they say they can and the sites are tight!!!

    Looking forward to reading all your reviews.  Off to Jellystone Park in Ashland this weekend.  Will let you know what we think, as we are very picky campers....

  3. Hey Robyn! Good for you! I think you will be happy with site S2! My inlaws had that site last year, and it was a great site. Nice and large! I suspect you will NOT be disappointed!

    Have a great time on all your trips! We are off to Forest Lake RV CG in East Wakefield, NH. Then on Tuesday it is off to Pennsylvania!
