We are off to Danforth Bay for a Week!

Yay! Summer is finally here and we are off to Danforth Bay this Saturday for 7 days.

I am a bit disappointed because the Carnival is only from 1 to 3:30 on Saturday. Since they issued the new policy of Saturday to Saturday reservations, I would think that with most campers either checking in or out, the only ones who can really enjoy the carnival are the seasonals.... and possibly those booked for two weeks. Anyway, I hope they decide to extend the hours or maybe run the carnival again on Sunday. The water slide was a huge hit last year!

We will be camping with other families and I know we are all looking forward to it. And I also hope to pop in on Karen C who is a good friend of That’s Camping, and will be staying at Danforth Bay as well! It is a lot of fun to meet visitors to the web site!

    Wow! We were just there (July 11-13th). We were on the Chocura Circle. Patty and I got stir crazy staying in the house and wanted to see how Cameron would do camping (he’s 3 weeks old now).
    He loved it (Well he slept most of the time).—We are going out next weekend too to Harbor Hill (Danforth Bay had no vacancy).
    We’re up there quite a bit this year so maybe we will catch up with you again!

  2. Hi Deb,
    Well, I guess we didn’t have very nice weather, but you still had a great time. We’re all very unhappy to be home and really miss Danforth Bay.
    Dave is out there washing down the camper and I’ve been doing wash and the kids are really quiet and saying how much they miss all those activities.
    Anyway, it was great meeting you and your husband there.
    I’ll let you know how my other trips go.

  3. Hey Bob, I cannot believe you were at Danforth Bay and we didn’t see eachother! haahaa. That stinks!

    I am glad to hear Cameron is set to camp! Very important ya know!

    We will probably be back to Danforth in September, and then of course Columbus Day!

  4. Hello again, Karen!! I was so glad that we met! It really was an “off and on” weather week, but we did make the best of it! I actually went fishing with Mike and our neice!

    I hope to see you around again, and yes, please do let us know how your future campouts go!
