Having a great time at Danforth Bay Campground this weekend. Yeah, it was raining this morning/afternoon, but tonight seems to be okay; just a bit cold. I am just happy to be away and camping! Doesn’t matter about the weather! But of course we aren’t camping in a tent either, so the rain isn’t as bothersome!
Anyway, we took a drive this morning to check out the sites up by Lovell Loop/upper Main street, and it looks great! The sites/roads are wider for larger rigs, they have newly added sewage and there is a nice fresh layer of gravel to level the sites. It looks great!
And one last note: now that we have blown our "cover" with Tim, the general manager, I have to send a big HELLO out to him, and tell him the bugs weren’t so bad! hehee.

Hi Guys,
We just can’t wait for our two weeks in July at Danforth Bay. Even in the rain it’s nice there.
Last year we were down at Lovell Loop(S11), is this site better this year? Actually, in July we have a different site and I hope we like it, anyway I don’t think any site is bad a Danforth now. If you have a chance let me know what sites got improved upon. ThanksPosted by Karen and Dave Clapp on 05/23/04Hey Karen and Dave! Funny you should mention site #S11. We were just looking at that very site. It actually looks better with a fresh batch of gravel.
I hope the rain won’t test your good time at Danforth in July! We will be there the week of July 10. Maybe we will see you there!
Posted by That's Camping on 05/23/04Just wanted to let youknow that S11 was a very nice site except you should have seen my husband backing down into it with tree limbs in his way, thank god we use the radios when he’s backing into sites.
We are at Danforth from July 3rd until July 17th and this year we took site E12,he’ll have to back up into that one,we’ll see how that works out.
I’m sure we’ll see you there(without rain!!!)
Thanks, nice talking to you, Karen and Dave ClappPosted by Karen Clapp on 05/24/04OH I know that site. Just looked on my map, and yep, that is a good site! It will be so much fun for you to stay for 2 weeks! Maybe we will see you there!
