Eric wrote to us last week informing us that Blueberry Shores Campground has been sold, and unfortunately isn’t a campground anymore. It is going to be develped for housing (I assume)
This is bad news. The campground was terrible, but the location was awesome. Oh well, time to remove those old reviews.
Are you sure? We are planning on camping there in a couple of weeks.
Thanks.

Hello Melissa, no, I have not spoken to anyone at this campground to confirm or deny this news.
To be honest, we have personally driven through this campground and were not impressed, and we have received other reviews with the same perspective.
I would call them to make sure that they are still open. Good luck!

Just heard from Bristol Shores (formaly Blueberry Shore Campground), they are having an open house this Sunday and during the weekends of the fall. It has been revamped and upgraded by the new owner.

Thanks for the info, Mary, but it looks like Blueberry Shores isn’t going to be a transient campground. It is just for park models, which is too bad.

Looks like their ‘open house’ would be just for permenant seasonals with park models
:(

We drove by area as we were in the general area looking for different campgrounds. Blueberry Shores now appears to be new condos right on Newfound lake. I can image what a nice campground this could have been.
There is a Bristol Shores close by on the lake (but not where the GPS - says Blueberry shores is). Its a sterile gated Park Model community with no trees.
