I had previously raved about Green Mountain Gringo Salsa, the salsa company from Vermont. But I was a bit disappointed in the last three or so purchases, the mild recipe seemed spicier (hotter) than it was in the past.
So, I was on the look for a new salsa to love. I found it in Better Than Fred’s Salsa.
Fantastic taste! This salsa has CHUNKS! Just like you would make it yourself. And the mild is MILD. I really love the fresh taste! I found my favorite salsa again!
Besides the mild variety, they also have a Peachy mild flavor too. But if you like your salsa spicy hot, or somewhere in between, they have a salsa for you. And tortilla chips too!
I found Better Than Freds Salsa at our local Market Basket grocery store, but you can also
find it in various health food stores. There is a list on the web site.
