I am so sorry there have been no new articles (entries) lately. I have been pre-occupied with finding a new computer, and I haven’t been motivated to write. The hot weather we have been having could be partly to blame for my lack of inspiration as well.

I have three restaurant reviews coming, ideas for a bunch of new articles, the Flush King review and other assorted tidbits.

Now that I have finally made a final decision on which computer system I wanted, hopefully I will be back on track soon. OH and if anyone is interested, I decided on the Macintosh Powerbook (15 in laptop) - ordered it from Amazon this morning and it should be delivered on Friday. Yes, I can’t wait! smile

  1. A Mac is cool! I love having the UNIX operating system behind the scense while having a cool GUI. Is this your first Mac?

  2. Yes, my first Mac, and yes, that is why I wanted the Mac...Unix! So far I am pretty overwelmed, but give me a few weeks and I will let you know how I am doing. smile

    Do you work with Unix a lot at work or home? I took a class in Unix, and it was fun.

  3. I use a Mac at work about 25% time and other time is using Windows XP. I’m experienced in Unix and love the vi editor. Let me know if you have questions!
