Overall Campground Rating: not good.

What stood out? Too many campers on top of each other. Do not have any privacy. Have to wisper when talking. I booked in May. They didn't tell me they were full and put me in a large field with no trees. It was 97% that week. Couldn't sit outside.

Owners and Staff: need a pass to get through the gate. It looks like a retirement home. has a pool and small playgroung for children. Overcrowded.

That's Camping Review: 1999 ***Just an observation, we didn't stay here. This is a very nice campground. The only big fault we found was that there was only one restroom facility and it's a long walk from some areas. Some noted sites are Z-4 1/2, Z-5 1/2, Z-7 1/2, Z14, Z15 to Z18, W14, W15. Approx Dates of Stay: 8/20-22,2004, 7/16-18,2004, 7/09-11,2004. Overall Campground Rating: excellent. What stood out? Lots of seasonals, but very friendly! Spotless bathrooms, friendly staff. 3/4 mile from the beach! With that many pople, It was amazing but Quiet time WAS quiet! Owners and Staff: Very helpful and friendly! Overall Campground Rating: excellent.

What stood out? The biggest attraction is that Wells Beach is less than 1 mile away and you do NOT have to drive Rte 1 to reach the Beach! There are a lot of seasonals, but there is also a wooded area that will make tenters and pop-ups feel right at home.

That's Camping Review: 1999 ***Just an observation, we didn't stay here. Basic campground. A lot of seasonal sites. Large transient sites. Noted sites include #s 5, 6, 7(e/w/s), 111(e/w), T96, T77, T76, T65, T64 (tenting). Nice Rec. Hall, plus they are on the Trolley stop to Wells beach. The section in the back might have a bit of highway noise. Only one bathhouse for whole campground. Restroom is clean, but a little older....

What stood out? Large, private campsites. Clean campgrounds & facilities. Very friendly staff & campers.

Owners and Staff: Very friendly & helpful. I needed directions a few times & they were more than happy to help. They even put the Sox game on in the office for me! (they earned major points for that one)

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Very clean, large sites. We had 2 tents & 2 cars on our site & still had plenty of room....

Overall Campground Rating: excellent.

What stood out? Campsites on the water were very spacious. We had sites E14 and E15 and had a LOT of unused space because the sites we so large. We had a 6 person tent, a screen tent AND badminton court set up. Bad: You can hear the highway, which is REALLY annoying. Also, other campers walk freely onto the site because its close to the river. Night fishing gets bothersome when you are trying to sleep!

What stood out? spacious tenting sites, clean facilities, friendly owners and staff

Owners and Staff: You'll see both pop-ups and tents at Pinederosa. All sites are very spacious. Some are wooded, some sites on the grass. The pool is large and clean. They are fairly strict about keeping things quiet after 11 pm, which is really good for families. Owners and staff are friendly and accommodating.

What stood out? The sites are large - the facilities the bathrooms are clean.(naturally after a few days of rain it's hard for them to keep everything clean... Maybe they should have showers in the area of the P and L ( they already have toilets in that area!!!)Last year (for a few days) in the ladies bathroom only 2 showers out of 3 were in operation!!!...

Asked for a quiet site, was put across from party of six sites, that had music blaring, partying, drinking, etc. even though campground was not full. What stood out? Good: We had the best site on the grounds - site 92. If you are staying here, DEFINATELY get this site! Site 91 isn't too bad...but smaller. Site 92 had just enough room for a tent, screenhouse and chairs. It was decent sized, close to the bathrooms, and far enough from your neighbors for some privacy.

What stood out? I can only review the tent part of this campground, so for RVs, I don't know if the campground is good or bad but for the tent sites, we like it a lot.
