Approx Dates of Stay: 7/16/04 - 7/18/04. Overall Campground Rating: fair-average. What stood out? Huge 1400 site RV Park, directly on Lake Ontario. Mostly permanant parked RV's and park models, at least 750 seasonals. Owners and Staff: Check in staff, resturant, and store staff all excellent. Jerry gave us this review on 03/21/05.
Approx Dates of Stay: August 2004. Overall Campground Rating: fair-average. What stood out? Good location on St. Lawrence River for viewing sunsets, although you must walk to that area - no parking available there. Insufficient showers. The inlet where the beach is located seemed to have a lot of debris in the water - not clear at all. Also no parking at beach area. Sites have no privacy at all. One side of park abuts a farm and we were there when they were spreading manure. No pool to compensate for the poor beach area. All activities would be off...

Approx Dates of Stay: 1 night. Overall Campground Rating: fair. Owners and Staff: Very friendly and helpful. Camp landscaping and surroundings: it is a beautiful park, except for the camp sites.
Overall Site Quality: terrible. Good/Bad site #'s: The site size was very very small and wide open. There is no privacy what so ever. It was like camping with 5,000 of your closest friends in the backyard. I know some people are ok with that. To us, it was just way...

What stood out? Everything! I can't say enough good about this park. The campground is immaculate - always has been. All campsites are raked and firepits cleaned every time a set of campers leaves. This is a FAMILY campground and is regularly patrolled by the NY State Police. Rowdy campers and partiers are dealt with quickly. This beach is...

Owners and Staff: Just came into contact with staff while checking in. We were allowed to check in very early as our site had not been used the night before which was nice.
Camp landscaping and surroundings: Good flat, nicely mowed grounds. A few mature trees and some newer smaller trees in our area. We are going to try for...
