Stayed at Carry Bay campground because I decided I wanted electric and water on site. The sites there are very small. By the time your camper is set up and your is awning out, you have about reached the edge of your site. They don't have too many sites though so we had no real problems. The owners are really nice people and live during the summer in their Class A motor home next to the camp office, which is a converted airstream trailer. The swimming pool is very good but small. What stood out? A very beautiful area. The lake and mountain are very nice. It offered enough things for our family to keep occupied for 3 days.

Owners and Staff: This campground was staffed by the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, VYCC. They did an excellent job, and it is wonderful to see these young adults working at such a great place. They were very helpful, cheerful, and did their job very well.

What stood out? The campground was spotless. The views were wonderful. Facitilies clean. The sites were secluded. It was very quiet even though the park was full.

What stood out? Several lake front wooded sites,on beautiful Groton Lake. Campers beach and boat launch.Friendly, leashed pets welcomed. This campground is a very good choice for those that do not want the commercial elements that many private campgrounds offer.
