Overall Campground Rating: excellent.

What stood out? Very spacious sites - we had a "prime" site and it overlooked Lake Ontario - beautiful sunsets, lots of room. If you camp here you can park for free at Niagara Falls State Park in downtown Niagara Falls which is a $10 savings. Easy drive to the Falls.

Overall Campground Rating: very good.

What stood out? Very nice wooded, private sites. The campground is on Lake Ontario, which is what first attracted us to it.

Owners and Staff: State park staff, courteous and friendly.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: The campsites are wooded with fairly dense shrubbery between sites affording a good amount of privacy. There are large open fields nearer the lake, and a large beach area on the lake.

What stood out? Clean sites, super clean bathrooms each day, friendly staff, friendly campers.

Owners and Staff: The staff were very friendly and accomodating. They delivered the firewood to our site for us. When we had a problem with veyr noisy and rude cabin neighbors, they quitly fixed the problem and keptchecking in on us all weekend.

What stood out? The seasonal campers are friendly and helpful, they also seem to organized all of the great activities. The bathrooms were totally disqusting! foundation falling down and crevices that housed God knows what critters.

What stood out? I camped here recently with my family. The real problem with this place, became clear later on in the evening after we had arrived and it was too late to go on to another campground. A quiet time rule isn't enforced. We camped near several drunken people whom played radios, cursing and shouting well beyond midnight. It continued...

How about raw sewage on the bathroom floors...one out of four showers even worked and the water was NOT hot. The sites were unkempt and looked worse than that along a logging trail.
