Overall Campground Rating: very good.

What stood out? The cg has a nice beach/park/pool area. The lake is fun to swim in until you get snapped in the back by a fish (or was it a turtle?!)!

Owners and Staff: I didn't meet the owners - the staff was ok.

Camp landscaping and surroundings: Very nice - many trees and a nice lake. The park mixes the old with the new.

Overall Site Quality: very good

What stood out? Very small sites. Had to drive to fishing pond which was tiny and had no fish. Nice campers, nice pool, nice playground. Game room had only a few games, most did not work. Camp store did not have much in it.

What stood out? up big hill to get there off main roads NO CABLE TV NO TVat all unless you had satellite I'm guessing cause we didnot have one. We struggled and got 1 station at night very snowy. there was one very clear station that spoke chinese.HaHA truth. The floor on the laundry room was dirty and needed sweeping and cleaning. NO WIFI

What stood out? Dakota wolf preserve on site, lake for the kids, mini golf 9 holes was just ok the kids had fun, game room, separated showers to bathrooms, sites very spacios not on top of another.

Owners and Staff: Some people complain, but I had no problem with them, from time of reservation with the owner to the time I left the place I was helped with whatever I needed. Great place.

What stood out? We reserved a trailer for the weekend sight unseen and were extremely dissapointed with the overall state of the trailer we stayed in and the whole campsite. The trailer was smelly, old and in need of repairs. The picnic table was broken and a small truck rim was provided for a fire ring. We could feel the wood under the mattress which made for a terrible night sleep and sore backs...

What stood out? Where to start... Bugs, tons of bugs, candles do not help. "Lake" was low so the bugs were out of control. Traveling from campsite to bathroom was treacherous, big ravine that people fell into all weekend. NO HOT WATER! Not ever. In the 4 days we were there, I never got a warm or hot shower. What stood out? This campground is located accross the Hudson River from Manhatten. This make it easy to get into city. Path Station and Light Rail system close by (walking distance). The only bad things I encountered were it was difficult to get to, the roads need improvement and one night the music from the local bar was loud.
