What stood out? Quietness - hence the name of the campground - idle. You want peace and quiet come here. You want a rustic campground, come here. No frills. They patrol the area after quiet time. No highway noise. It's in the middle of nowhere.

What stood out? So many things stood out good - it's an amazing place! Warm cookies at the check in, very friendly owners that came by the site every few hours but not intrusively, incredibly clean bathrooms including lavender soap in the ladies room, as well as clean, level sites.

That's Camping Review: ***This is an observation, we have not stayed there. On a beautiful lake, nice beach. Not the best choice for camping; most of the sites are seasonal, and it seemed clustered, not much of a selection for transient sites. Beach is open to the public (parking charge), so it gets full quickly, & the snack bar/casino gets very crowded; we had to stand in line just to get a brochure. ~1999
