Scorpio’s Pizza & Sports Pub is located in Lancaster, NH. They offer a full menu of pizza, pasta, seafood, burgers, subs, Mexican, and calzones. We arrived on a Wednesday night at 7:45pm and couldn’t believe how busy it was! They do not accept credit cards, so be sure to bring cash.
Mike ordered a Cheeseburger Plate - comes with french fries.

We found the most excellent seafood restaurant in the Mid Coast Maine area. The Sea Basket Restaurant is located on Rt 1 in Wiscasset Maine, across from Big Al’s store.
I have been on the hunt for the tastiest lobster roll, and I think I finally found the winner here! The lobster roll at the Sea Basket can be ordered with or without mayo (mayo on the side) and in my opinion this is a huge plus.

Sea Fare Fish Market - on Rt 1, Wells, Maine. Next to the Moody Post Office, and right before the Wonder Mountain Mini Golf close to the Ogunquit border.
Take out with tables outside. Inside there is a fish market. We had a delicious lunch at Sea Fare Fish Market during the July 4th weekend (while camping in York Maine.)
I ordered a Scallop Roll which included chips for $6.95 (7 large scallops

In this Sunday's Boston Globe Magazine there was a Best of Summer theme. Besides the best beaches, there was a great article on Snack Shacks in New England-Fried Clams and Seafood especially. (Unfortunately the article on the 30 best beaches is not available online for free.)

While camping in Boothbay, Maine, we spent a day driving up the coast. Our dog was traveling with us, so we needed to find a “take-out” restaurant for lunch, so we stopped at the Helm on Rt
1 in Rockport, Maine.
I ordered the lobster roll for $12 - average size portion, little too much mayo (I like only a small amount of mayo for my lobster rolls) but it still tasted very good. It is a bit

The Italian Farmhouse Restaurant is located on Rt 3 in Plymouth, NH. We passed by the restaurant while driving up to Franconia Notch and thought it sounded interesting. We had seen the name on the list of the establishments that were affiliated with the Common Man.
I was initially hesitant to try it, because when we were browsing inside the Common Man Company store in Ashland, NH, and I was

Yianni’s House of Pizza
155 Main Street, South Paris, Maine 04281
(207)743-6660
Looking for a quick take out dinner, we stopped at Yianni’s Pizza. It’s typical “Greek-style” Italian food - yummy. I ordered chicken parmesan dinner & Mike ordered veal parmesan dinner. Both with ziti and salad.
We drove back to the campground, which was about 20 minutes away. Our dinners were still very hot when
