Just came back from the Boston RV Show at the Bayside Expo ctr.
For those going this week, don't forget:
pre-printed labels to fill out the entry forms for free weekends and such
coupon for $2 off parking in local papers and the Boston Globe. Parking is $12 - big rip off!!!
Pretty good show. There didn't seem to be as many campground booths there as past years. There might be an economical

The Manchester RV/Camping show was fun. Spend a few hours there and really got to talk to some of the campground owners. We were impressed with a few of them, and hope to make some plans to visit soon.
* South Arm Campground way up in Andover ME. It is a haul of a drive, but I have always wanted to go here!
* Mountain Lake Campground in Lancaster, NH. We found the new owners of this campground

At the last minute, we decided to check out the New England Camping & RV Show this afternoon. This year the show is in Foxboro, MA at Gillette Stadium. Easy access off Rt 1. Free parking. $9 adult admission.
The show was much smaller than when it was held in Boston; Mike estimated that it was only about a quarter to a third the size of past shows.
Quite frankly, we were disappointed, and I

Well the camping season is almost over, and the RV & Camping Show season is approaching. It is never to early to check out the new trailers and campers, is it?
I found a great site to search for RV shows.

We went to the NH Camping & RV show this afternoon (at the Armory in Manchester) and I wanted to write my review right away, just in case others were wondering if they should go or not. It is a small show, but packed with lots of campground booths, and a few small trailers and pop-ups. It was nice to see the A-liner trailer, and so many of the “cute” smaller RVs that are usually missing from most

Well, we decided on this Saturday afternoon to trot on down to the Boston RV Camping show again! This time, I made some mental notes of things I wanted to mention here on the blog.
First off, why do RV makers create bathrooms in the same room as the bedroom. A large majority of the big buses and 5th wheels had a sink put in right by the bedroom with absolutely no wallspace in between. One even

I kept forgetting to post a note on the great time we had at the Springfield RV/Camping show.
Compared to the Boston RV show, it was excellent! There were so many different campground displays, and I can’t get over how wonderful the food was!
The majority of campground exhibitors were from Connecticut and Massachusetts, but there were a few other states like NY, VT, Maine, and NH there as well.

What a great weekend for The Topsfield Fair - we took a drive (actually sat in traffic for about an hour) to the fair on Sunday. Gorgeous day. It was packed - it was hard to really get around with out wading thru crowds, but we managed. I love the Arts and Crafts building the best. And I love seeing the animals.
If you are planning to go, make sure to take an alternate route besides Rte 1
