The book Eat This Not That! Supermarket Survival Guide is fantastic! I recently bought it, and even though I had previously studied a lot about nutrition, it was a real eye-opener. (follow the above link for more info and for pricing.)
It's difficult to decipher what's healthy and what's not when looking at today's food labels. This book makes it simple to make the right food choices. A lot

I had previously raved about Green Mountain Gringo Salsa, the salsa company from Vermont. But I was a bit disappointed in the last three or so purchases, the mild recipe seemed spicier (hotter) than it was in the past.
So, I was on the look for a new salsa to love. I found it in Better Than Fred’s Salsa.
Fantastic taste! This salsa has CHUNKS! Just like you would make it yourself. And the mild

When I can’t get fresh, I like using frozen vegetables; I love how easy it is to microwave the frozen bags. This is also handy when traveling in the RV (as long as you have a working microwave).

Mike loves the key lime or coconut cream. I would probably try any flavor!
If you are ever in a location that offers a

During our last visit to Danforth Bay, we went shopping to North Conway (on Thursday) and found this wonderful shop. It is located in the LL Bean shopping plaza.
Mike and I split a gorgeous caramel apple rolled in krispies, and

We have long searched for the perfect salsa, and I think we have found it in Green Mountain Gringo Salsa!
Fantastic, fresh tasting with “real” veggie chunks. This is really the best salsa we have tasted!
The company is located in Vermont so you are supporting a local New England business by buying their products! Find Green Mountain Gringo at Shaw’s and Stop & Shop, along with other grocery

While driving back from the lakes region, we were in need of a little snack. We stopped at an Alton Gas Station (wish I could remember the name, cos it is a pretty good store) and decided that instead of purchasing a peanut butter brownie bar, we would try to eat healthier. I found a big ole bag of White Mountain Kettle Corn for $4 and we chowed. Pretty good. Salty yet sweet. Check out their
